Sunset kayaking, A little family time with my son and a friend kayaking

It’s school holidays and I got to spend a little family time with my son and a friend kayaking.

No fishing, just a little time on the water off Wellington Point peddling out to King Island. Kids in a Hobie CompassDuo  and I chose a Revolution 13. Turned out to be a stunning afternoon and even better evening !

Winter is often the best time to get out in Queensland as it often glasses out. If you pick your days you get conditions like these and even if you don’t there are a number of options in protective clothing!
