Kayak Livewell Large

The Kayak Livewell Large has a 42 litre capacity  is a practical and versatile live bait and catch tank designed for kayak anglers who want a convenient way to keep bait, fish and other catches healthy while out on the water. With a generous 42-litre capacity, high-flow self-priming pump and self-contained design, this livewell provides an efficient solution without requiring complicated modifications or electrical integration into your kayak.

The compact design makes the Kayak Livewell (42L) suitable for use in a variety of kayak cargo areas and other marine applications. Heavy-duty securing straps help keep the tank firmly in position, while the integrated rod holders provide convenient storage for fishing rods and equipment when you need your hands free.

High-Flow Self-Priming Pump

The Kayak Livewell (42L) features a high-flow, self-priming pump designed to circulate fresh water through the tank and help maintain suitable conditions for live bait and catches. The system is designed for straightforward operation, with no complicated wiring required to connect it to your kayak’s existing electrical system.

Once the pump is switched on, water intake can be assisted by moving the kayak forward through the water. This provides a simple and effective way to establish water flow while fishing.

42-Litre Capacity

With 42 litres of capacity, the Kayak Livewell (42L) provides plenty of room for storing live bait or temporarily holding your catch. The generous capacity makes it particularly useful for longer fishing sessions where maintaining live bait can make a significant difference.

The tank’s size provides a practical balance between usable capacity and portability, making it suitable for kayak anglers who want additional livewell capacity without carrying an unnecessarily large system.

Removable Internal Partitions

The internal design incorporates removable partitions that help prevent larger pieces of debris from reaching the pump and drainage components. These sections can be removed when cleaning the tank, helping make regular maintenance straightforward.

Keeping the pump and water pathways clear of debris can also help maintain consistent water circulation and reduce unnecessary blockages during use.

Integrated Rod Holders

The Kayak Livewell (42L) includes two vertical rod holders, providing convenient storage for fishing rods while you’re handling bait, landing fish or moving around the kayak.

Having dedicated rod storage incorporated into the livewell helps make better use of the available space and keeps fishing equipment close at hand without taking up additional deck or cargo space.

Secure Kayak Mounting

Heavy-duty securing straps are included to help keep the Kayak Livewell (42L) stable within the kayak’s cargo area. Properly securing the tank is particularly important when fishing in moving water, choppy conditions or when transporting live bait.

The straps also allow the livewell to be removed when it isn’t required, providing greater flexibility between fishing trips.

Simple Drainage

After use, draining the tank is straightforward using the integrated drain control. This makes it easier to empty the livewell, remove unwanted water and clean the tank ready for your next fishing trip.

Regular cleaning and inspection of the tank, pump and water pathways is recommended to maintain reliable operation.

Self-Contained Design

One of the major advantages of the Kayak Livewell (42L) is its self-contained configuration. The pump, wiring and marine-grade components are incorporated into the system, helping minimise installation requirements.

Rather than requiring permanent electrical integration into your kayak, the livewell is designed to operate as an independent unit, making it a practical option for anglers who want a removable livewell solution.
